STUDIO PRICES & SCHEDULE

Studio prices range from $100 - $550 hourly and $450 - $4.400 daily. Weekly rates and monthly rates available. You must carry insurance and have proper permits, if required. W welcome to Block Studies home of the Dr. Susan Block Show and BlockFilms. Founded in 1992 in a small cramped facility in West Hollywood the studios have grown into a 14.400 square foot one of a kind urban space with facilities to accommodate various smaller productions.

T he studios have been used by HBO, Canal Plus, Channel 4 UK, Arte Television, ABC, NBC, Playboy TV, CBS and dozens of other major and independent production companies from around the world.

T he studios were used to film the first two HBO SPECIALS, RADIO SEX TV ONE and RADIO SEX TV TWO, both of which were filmed in the basement of the old Century Wilshire Hotel in Westwood.

T oday the studios are located at the crossroads of Los Angeles and occupy the entire penthouse floor. Access is available by two freight elevators capable of carrying up to 4,000 pounds of equipment or  people. There is plenty of parking within secured gates with 24 hour security on duty.

We can provide total services for any production company, from set design to catering and small crew quarters if you are visiting from out of town.
