Subject: Breaking Story--Spielberg Impersonator Produces Transvestitite Video with BlockFilms

Life at the Speakeasy constantly amazes. We wake up to our LA Times "Morning Report," only to read about Jonathan Taylor Spielberg being arrested three times in one month for "impersonating" Steven Spielberg's nephew.

Could this be the Jonathan Taylor Spielberg who came to The Dr. Susan Block Institute back in 1996, and asked us to help him to make the film of dreams? We call it "The Story of V," the true tale of a young man who comes out as a lovely transvestite, starring the author, Jonathan Taylor Spielberg. We shot it over the course of two months during our stay at the Century Wilshire Hotel, transient, legendary home to Marilyn Monroe, John F. Kennedy and other lovers and actors from Hollywood's great history of impersonation.

Jonathan Taylor Spielberg was a personable fellow, and had us all pretty much persuaded that his Uncle Steven (through his estranged father's side) was the Great Filmmaker himself. Either that, we figured, or he was just another Hollywood actor. Now that he's been arrested, we guess that settles the question. Or does it?

Who is Jonathan Taylor Spielberg?

We were in the midst of editing The Story of V when we received word of Jonathan (whose birth name is said to be Anoushirvan Fakhran) and his triple axle of arrests by Virginia police for "pretending to be a high school-aged nephew of Spielberg's."

The Story of V, a sensuous, poignant, honest, gorgeously-shot, one-hour portrayal of a personable young man with multiple identities, will be available to the public on video and on our website at drsusanblock.com soon after Valentine's Day, 2000.

Jonathan/Anoushirvan/ V/Taylor Spielberg, congratulations. You've made it into the national media.
